You can see where the splash well was glassed to the transom. I had to grind the fiberglass on the inside of the transom all the way around the splash well and pry it off with the deck. I had to come back later and remove that layer of transom glass from the back of the splashwell (other wise, things won’t line up when you go to reassemble after the new transom is installed).
